Summer Night Markets

  The local Summer night market enables our visitors  to enjoy an inexpensive celebration of food and wine. There is a cheesy, charming kind of anarchy on Wednesday nights in Monségur. Grand parents drinking glasses of cold rosé watching grand children dancing uproariously to the local band while parents and friends chat and  relax. Authentic and unmissable.

Wine Tours, Shop Local...
Many of the local chateaux welcome visitors (phoning before hand to check on time is often a good idea).
Another option is to visit the local caves of which there are many. Closest is the Cave Cooperative of Monsegur. 
Further afield
we  recommend the Maison des vins de Graves in  Podensac and the Maison des Vins de l'Entre~deux~Mers at La Sauve.
All of these are great places to taste and buy fine wines.

from the evening of friday 5 JULY until the evening of sunday 7 JULY (dates to be confirmed) 

 MONSegur SHIM-me-sha-wabbles to the sound of music. Be-bop, swing, acid jazz, funk all echo through the streets.

Flea Markets and Vide Greniers

 pop-up in different villages throughout the summer. Always a fun outing and a bargain hunter's paradise.
